Where can you buy a half decent weedkiller for a good price? Ideally in the north west area?
-
I beleive clinic ace is a good one, they sell it in the DIY store near me (Wigan) it's about 60 quid, but huge coverage with it. I saw it being used by some groundsmen once and it killed everything inlcuding very waxy leafed plants like ivy. although someone told me to mox some fairy liquid in with a weedkiller to break the wax down and penetrate leave. Think that may even have been said on here? Heard it somewhere

Twas me ::)roll. I use Glypogan, grazon and chikara. This was advised by the bloke who sprays the fields on the farm. They now look at the plants growing and formulate the spray to suit. Its best to get the sprays from a farm merchant or the like rather than the diy sheds. Always read the label as its illegal the use a spray in any way not consistant with that label ::)roll

I get mine from a green keepers/farming suppliers local to me. I got the highest strength gallup last time, but only used it once. I was told that chikara is good gear, its a residual weed killer isnt it? expensive but makes up a lot of product.

Chikara is not licenced for hard surfaces like driveways due to run off.

Ahh ok, thanks Chris.
Is there a residual weed killer that can be used on drives/hard surfaces?
-
Chikara!

Don't you have to have a licence to spray stuff for a paid job

Only during the day ;D
