Hi everyone,
I generally clean domestic carpets using HWE, but I'v managed to pick up an office to
clean (full of desks).
Its 550m2 of standard dark blue carpet tiles.
Probably a fairly basic question for you, but what method would you use to clean and
dry these tiles?
I'm probably going to make it a 2 dayer as its rather a lot.

Slow speed Rotary, Dynamal or other Encap half a doz bonets should take five hours topps

Hire a pile lifter if you can... carpet tiles will hold loads of dry soils and you will need to remove as much as possible or you could run the risk of wicking IF you get them too wet.
In my experience i would never over wet the carpet tiles, in fact the last job i did i ended up LIGHTLY spraying SPM, then brushing in with a rotary and shampoo brush and finally bonneting.
They came up lovely!

I'v got a Victor 300 rotary but its only got a 13 inch deck board, what are the
best pads to buy? Terry or activa type bonnet, or something else?
Pile lifter, i have a sebo duo, will that do the job??

Are they cut or loop pile tiles?
Ideally you want a 17" rotary but you could get by with this machine.
It will just take slightly longer.
As head weight and footprint of the machine are relatively small I would go for the a pad with quite a bit of agitation like a floor pad. You wont get any soil removal with that type of pad so an Encap would be needed.
If you want to use a bonnet cleaner then a microfibre or striped bonnet would give better results.
May be best to hire a 17" rotary from the day. My preference is for a slow speed machine. Something like this will be fine. http://www.hss.com/g/58611/Floor-Scrubber-polisher.html (http://www.hss.com/g/58611/Floor-Scrubber-polisher.html) Just get your own pads for it.

Sorry I'm making this into a carpet cleaning lesson but though I'm aware of other
methods I'v only ever really done HWE for domestic which is fine in most cases
and I'm not really familiar exactly what to do with the encap cleaning method (still alot to learn).
Could you give me a step by step or guide on this method and chems (if you don't mind) or
point me to a you tube or site where this is explained in idiot form. lol

Some good videos here. The process explained is true for all Encap products.
