I bought a new number 6 section (base) for my 2/3 year old 30'SLX on sale.
When it arrived it was a superlite extreme base section!
I also fitted new quick loq system inc q/r jg t piece on the brush and it looks like a brand new pole! :)
I cant wait to buy the clamp upgrade kit for this! So......
Tomorrow is my pole going to feel lighter? ;D

should you not send this back? or has this been sent out as an alternative? bonus for you if it has! ;D

my first thought was to palm off my recon slx on ebay as an extreme pole ;D
I dont know why i thought it, because i wouldnt really do it.

I replaced sections 1 & 2 on my 2 year old xtreme 25 as I had managed to glue them together, using it today and it feels like a new pole even lighter than it did before even though it shouldn't be as it's basically the same pole.
Good service from Gardiners though, pole bodged up monday 2:30pm, called Gardiners and replacement sections were with me by 11am the next morning.
