Post by: Ashley Brothwood on May 01, 2013, 11:06:15 am
Hi I've got a 13hp honda pressure washer running a hawk pm50 pump at 18lpm how high can it pump vertical
I've got to clean roof on a commercial garage that's about 3 stories high,
Im guessing it should have no problem just didn't want to get there and the pressure be severely down
Thanks

Ashley

This is something we do all the time. The furthest hose length I have run is well in excess of 200 metres, could have been closer to 300. That's just short of a third of a kilometre!!

If I remember right you lose 23psi on every 100 feet of hose attached so you will be ok.

Ok thanks I thought it was something like that. I've got about 150m in total so shouldn't lose that much pressure

Been out cycling - 12 miles - crisis, life, mid (rearrange)

Even taking it up to fifth and six floors and above, looked at a 11 storey job once. Don't think you will get to the point where it becomes an issue.

I have got some big pumps pushing it through, though - that could be the deal breaker!
