Ordering a new pole for everyday use, has to reach 3story and be fairly rigid.
People recommended slx 27but they are out of stock:(
Is there anything similar ?? And are Phoenix poles any good?

loving my phoenix 26ul, it reaches all my 3 storey house and even does some solar panels on roofs!

If you want the best then it has to be gardiners 25ft extreme :)
-
Best is the xtreme and for that size 25, then the slx. From what I hear the poles will be back in stock soon with new clamps, I would say it is worth waiting for the new range of gardiners poles as the new clamps look pretty cool for various reasons.

Very true.
I've got a clx18 - great pole. Looking to get a 30'+ pole and was looking at the Gardiner full carbon pole ranges. That is until I borrowed my mate's Phoenix 26ul this week and it was most impressive. Now I don't know. Price will a big consideration but Gardiner customer service is awesome - have no experience of Facelift in this respect.
It is a quandary as you don't want to be making a duff purchase with this kind of money.

Most full carbon poles will perform better than a clx 50% carbon composite pole. Personally, until these Phoenix poles are proven with extended use by many wcers I would go with an slx. I did have a read up on the Phoenix and it was a whole page talking about the clamps. If these are the same clamps that were on the facelift fusion then I wouldn't bother. My £600 pole snapped a clamp in half at full extension on its first day of use. Rang them up and they wanted to charge me for a new clamp. Chancers

That's the thing. All products can have problems but its the manufacturer's reaction that makes all the difference.........
