Thinking of getting a rotovac for a number of reasons
1, They look like the make easy work of mingers.
2, They look easier than wanding
3, They look like a good marketing tool, and impressive to the custy during cleaning.
4, They look versitile ie. Hard floor cleaning, bonneting, carpet etc
5, I like new stuff
The question is in reality are they any easier?
-
love mine.......cleans great, takes a little longer on the job,but easy on the back.
-
Do you use it all the time or just on dirtier carpets?
-
yes you could,i am taken it out of the van on most jobs.I have the brush head too, rarely use it.
-
Do you have the tile and grout head?
-
no ray, just what i have read on other forums the 360i not meant to be great on tile and grout,to light me thinks.
-
Thanks for your comments. :)
-
Does any one here have the hard floor attachment?
-
absolutely love the 360, but only use on mingers. i also do not use for tile and grout, too light!
-
I have the 360i, great on carpets and low profile. I have all the heads and ave also got the old 360 hard floor head adapted for the 360i but it is only so so on hard floors.
-
Do you only use it on mingers Paul or do you use it on general cleans too?
-
Mainly commercial only
-
What I meant is do you only use it on dirtier carpets/restoration jobs or do you use it instead of a wand even for carpets with medium soiling?
-
I use it on commercial jobs where or not trashed, if im doing large empty houses or area with easy access then i will use it as its a lot easier and cleans better. It will rip the shi t out of black top if you have enough heat running through it.

Paul
Thought you had an RX20 mate ?

I have the 360i,wouldn't be without it,use it on 90% of my jobs.I bought the hard floor attachment, not too impressed tbh.I haven't pushed the tile & grout part of my business, partly because i wasn't getting the desired results. This however may be down to my inexperience and use of chemicals.I fully intend to do a course on hard floor cleaning in the near future so maybe the t&g head will serve me in the future.
Paul, would you advise using the t&g head for agitation, had been toying with the idea, the bristles are not imo overly harsh :-\,not too unlike the brush i used to use for agitation !'would appreciate your thoughts.
