Title: ink mark on leather stool

friend of mines at a site i work on was asking if i knew of anything that would remove a childs ink pen from a breakfast bar stool (swivel style)

he says the pens rub off no bother on skin, but doesnt seem to want to come off the stool/seat.

told me his wife used a bit of flash APC but its only dulled it not removed it - is there anything that specialises in this style of stain at all?

ive told him not to try anything else in case it damages the leather
