keep an eye on your filter-it gets clogged up quickly, and the tumble dryer really gets fluffed up!

Dont you wash them out while you are working ?
When I used to clean windows myself with a leather and scrim I would
wash them out in a bucket of clean water (no soap) five or six times
a day

Speaking of Scrims - where is the cheapest place to buy them from?
-
don't have a problem washing the scrims in the washing machine but my mum does go mad >:( if i don't clean it out after. the other day she did a white wash staight after and the whites came out ditier then they went in :)
i do tumble dry them sometimes but i think they wear out quicker so i normally put them on the radiater
-
so its ok to tumble dry scrims then?
i was under the impression you could'nt. ???
Dont tumble dry, they go too fluffy. Use a radiator, the quicker they dry, the harder they are, the better they work.

No problems with washing machine as yet but i also tumble dry mine and the fluff from that is a nightmare.
Is it ok to wash scrims with powder or do you just throw them in on a rinse cycle

I put mine on Quick wash along with my mopping up cloths with no washing powder and i never tumble dry them,i prefer to let them dry over night,Gaz

Rince and spin every night...........
And a full wash at weekend.............
And, yes they do put bits in the filtre, just check it now and then

Dont put comfort in the w/machine, rinse at the end of a day and let dry.

I chuck a pile of scrims in, hot wash, no soap, theres enough impregnated in them already. Spin, hang on clothes dryer.
don't dry too fast, they go like cardboard. That's it. Iron them if you want, but makes no difference on the job after 2 seconds.
