Title: Advertising in the sig
Post by: Blast Away on April 26, 2013, 11:15:05 pm
1473 times the first logo in my sig has been clicked in the last 8 days which takes the clicker to the website. 1477 for the 2nd but only 15 for the 3rd.

Go ahead and click the 3rd!   ;)

You'll need to host your images first with tinypic.com (http://tinypic.com) who I prefer. My logos sizes are 280 x 100 which are ideal sizes.

As I've got 3 logos I had to shorten the url's to fit in the signature box so used google URL shortener but if you want just one logo you'll be fine with the original URL's.

Code is [*url=http://Your Domain Here][IMG]http://Your Image URL Here[/img*]  (Delete the stars)

Here's one for you Trev  ;)

[*url=http://goo.gl/GESPu][IMG]http://goo.gl/lwJcy[/img*] (Delete the stars) This one is already shortened with http://goo.gl/ where you can track number of clicks. Well as I created it on my Google account only I can see the click number, if you create it you can see it.

http://goo.gl/ it's a URL Shortener, designed for Twitter mainly. Input a URL, like your website address, it will shorten it. Pasta the new shortened URL. When you go back onto http://goo.gl/ A list of shortened URL's come up and the number of clicks is visible.
