so for those that have used both the mark 2 and mark 3XL aqua-daptors.is the mark 3 a lot better, lighter and more secure than the mark 2s?
my bugbear with the mark 2 was the clamp and the rod which seems to have been removed from the mark 3 version.
cheers guys

I've found the latest model to be noticeably lighter and a better spring action than the previous model.
I've tried pinching the hose but this latest Aquadapter's weight is negligible to me

Lighter and smoother they're a brilliant bit of kit...

I think I have tried all the aqua dapters and the xl really is much better than the mk2. It's noticeably lighter and it stays done up on the thread because the collar is plastic not metal.
Obviously you will notice a little added weight to your pole, but it is not as noticeable as it used to be, the benefit of the AD out weighs this though.

well ive ordered two mark 3XL s!as well as the new v2 carbon gooseneck adaptor.
to be honest ive been getting fed up of using a pole tap and pinching the hose.ive got used to working with a light pole but ill soon get used to the extra weight.in fact it might help on windy days!
i mainly use extreme brushes with carbon goosenecks so ill still be working with a light pole.
i reckon ive been wasting a bit of water lately and generally faffing about wasting a bit of time without the aqua-daptor.
