Do any of you use mobile websites and do you get a good returns on them
Cheers

I haven't had one build (yet)...
High-end mobiles don't really need a specific mobile site as they display standard sites well enough anyway.
IMHO mobile sites are just a work-around for low-resolution mobile phone screens - and they are a dying breed.

My new website is "dynamic" - it rearranges itself to fit whatever screen size it is showing on.
I think most web designers are doing this now.

I have numerous emails, phone calls saying i need to get a mobile site ::)roll ::)roll
I told them my site already shows on mobile, strange they never believe me .

There's an arguement that modern smartphones take care of this and its not needed. On the whole though I think its worth doing because you can have the whole thing very clean and a phone number button and they are dialling (hopefully) within seconds. Also its something I think google gives you some brownie points for. Don't pay silly money though to have it done.

A true MOBILE site doesnt download all your data, so makes it quicker( vids ETC) all my site are mobile and look nothing like the web sites!
20% of Views to my sites are on mobile phones.

Wynne, FYI the html code for adding auto-dial (to mobile or normal website) is:
<a href="tel:+44-1625-123456">01625 123456[/url]
