Looking at buying a new hose reel for filling my tank, would like around 40 - 50 meters, looking at the hose lock ones really unless someone can recommend a better one? I am going to mount it on the headboard in the van, sick of my little cart getting in the way.
Can anyone recommend a decent one? maybe an auto rewind? interested to know what people use and find the best / practical, also prices you paid?
Also can anyone recommend one that doesn't start to leak after 2 weeks?
Thanks

Go on City Irrigation website www.cityirrigation.co.uk and look at the big blue hose reels. I've got two of these.
Lee has seen the one in my van, slightly more expensive but a buy to last for a long time.
Cheers

cheers rob, just on there now, which one have you got? does yours have a bracket on like a swivel so you can turn it out the way eyc? is yours 50 or 100m?
Thanks

No I have one from them - the HD Hose Trolley and one from somewhere else that doesn't have wheels.
I've cut the handles off mine so it sits in the van better

I use a hozelock one. its o e of the decent ones. alloy bits. Ive got it mounted up above the cab, the little load space i the transits up top and ive got a hose guide mounted to the bulkhead so i can just reel it out when i get to a job.
Had it a year almost and no leaks. easy to wind.

To run from riser and keep filling. Still keep the fire hose.
