I was only just thinking the same thing the software is great but needs a update.

I'm thinking about emailing them to see if they have any other service related cloud software that i can use.

If not then i'm going to bite the bullet and use one of the others but i have tried them and still find wcp layout better

Plus all that data from excel to transfer  :'( :'(

i agree too.

i am starting to look at other software.

WCPro has been neglected and i am not sure the developers are interested any longer.

i am certainly needing something that supports multiple users, amongst other things...

I'm surprised one of the bigger companies haven't done some thing i would have thought you could get a great package made for £5,000 to £10,000 and the demand would be huge.

I going to have to go with the only company that is actively developing their software but i don't like cloud

I have only ever played with it I have never actively tried it for work purposes perhaps i need to upload three weeks work and see how i get on.

While still running excel.

yeah i find it annoying wcp is built more with single operator in mind but its nice and simple if it had a few more features such as

running it alongside microsoft outlook and being able to invoice customers by email etc

being able to use by multi operators as when your business grows only one person can access the programme
quite difficult when someone maybe debt collecting and you have 10 new jobs to input or need some important information

it would be nice to possibly have a sales pipeline/crm package run alongside it

if you clean multiple sites for one company you cant put them all on the one account unless im doing something wrong

it would be nice to have a feature to show which employee has cleaned what and whose cleaned the most etc

Does anyone use Buckit? Just had a look on there site, features sound good and get 2 months free, not sure how much after that though?

A bit more info about Aworka...

I am working on extending the planner so that you can see a year ahead. At the moment, each job is only auto rescheduled each time you mark it done, so the visible work depends on the duration of your round, e.g. typically 4 weeks or 6 weeks. I would be interested to understand why you need to see more than that though...? Note that you can already get an income forecast for the year ahead or next year, without the work being shown on the planner.

Paul: I can probably import your data from excel. Email it to import@aworka.com if you want me to have a go.

Aworka is multiuser. There is an additional charge for each extra user, although typically several office staff can share the same account.

You can send invoices by email, which can be generated automatically if you wish, either after a job is done, or at a set interval, e.g. monthly. Emails contain a link that allow customers to view their invoices online and pay via PayPal.

You can have multiple locations per customer and include these on a single invoice. If you have multiple jobs for multiple locations, these are automatically grouped and subtotalled.

I'm going to add some basic CRM features soon, e.g. the ability to add multiple dated notes to customers and some improvements to the way estimates are handled.

you need to see further in front as some works can be booked in in say 5-6 weeks (extar jobs different contracts etc) and yu cannot book them in if you calender looks empty, as you woudl end up double booking. For us this is a critical part and at the moment stopped us using your programme which looked pretty good aprt from that :)

The only thing that stops me going over to work  is the schedule layout if it was the same as wcp then Iwould use it, iI like to see all my rounds as a whole when there due and not just the jobs.

Why not click jobs select round and then hit refersh then you can view each round individually .

Maybe i am missing something guys please explain if i am .

One thing to bear in mind to those who dont use www.aworka.com  is if you like all your rounds in a nice neat order and dont want them to become muddled up . Then it aint going to happen as we know the weather can and will make short work of that over a period of months .

What is important to me is knowing exactly when my work is due each and every working week just on a 1-4 wk overview if that is all i can have .

I have a terrible memory and with aworka  providing  i keep on top of every thing ie work done or not and expenses . The system updates and i can track everything .

Aworka has allowed me to focus on my business much more and has been a godsend i dont where i would be without it . Mike

So I'm guessing we're not going to get any more updates on the WCP program?!

I'm a single operator, but I have a few niggles, like it not display properly on my monitor, having to scroll across all the time does my head in.

Also would love the function to put non-work days/holidays into the planner.

WCP could be the ultimate program with a bit of tweeking.

Shame they haven't updated since 2010..

I run Aworka with multiple users as does "Ian Lancaster" & "Vin at Perfect Windows", it's a great app, but like all app's it takes a little while to find your way around, but it not difficult and Chris is on hand whenever help is required.

Worth every penny.

We are biased, however have you thought of using Buckit. We allow you to work as long into the future as you need as well as into the past. We have recently introduced a simple diary feature to visualize your jobs. You can get a free trial for two months.

@Karl1991 : after the two months the price is £5+vat/Month for up to 100 properties or £10+vat/Month for unlimited properties
