No, but I've been targeted!  I didn't like the idea - If you visited a local sports centre would you be interested in a carpet cleaning advert? I wouldn't be.

Before you agree to any new advertising I suggest you check exactly what it is (see it in action) - there's a few scams about, but I've no idea if this is one...

Ive had calls regarding advertising in these type of things, had one from a guy at Bury market saying my ad would be passed by 250,000 people a week.

I tell them that I have sign written van thats passed by thousands and get very few calls from people seeing it (2 or 3 a year)

So why would I pay £500 to have an advert in their spaces.

I dont think you will get a return.

I would class this type of advertising in the "brand awareness" bracket. You are extremely unlikely to get a direct phone call from it, but potential customers will sublimily take it in.

I would not touch any of this type of marketing, unless you have exhausted all avenues of direct online and offline marketing and are looking to expand to a multi van and service operation.

In other words, a waste of time and money  ;)

is it the waterfront jim??   if it is I wouldn't consider it as anytime I went there to gym and pool when I've been back in the port it's been full of job dodgers as they get free entry to everything. I went to the gym at boglestone as well and it was exactly the same. I was having a coffee in the café in the waterfront and seen a chair fly across the room because the young man was not happy because it was green and he wanted a blue one ... need I say more on that subject. I still go when i'm back up but I wouldn't pay to advertise in the place .

ps... if it's not the waterfont then I apologise for my rant

I've seen quite a few of these TV's silently broadcasting adverts in petrol stations and supermarkets. They are there one month and a few months down the line they are not.

I can only think that the advertisers who have tried it once decide not to get bitten again. With no new adverts the TVs are taken out of the outlets.

Conclusion: as others have said-don't do it.

Cheers.
