How often would u spray it on your brush? Also if you get any on the windows do you have to give them a good scrub and rinse with pure.

i dilute it about 5cups of water to 1virosol.... apply it, scrub it, leave about 10-15 mins and rinse of should be perfect! the trouble when using virosol neat is that it can sometimes clean well in some areas, then not so good in others and will leave marks!! its best to water it down.

About 20/1 for me. Leave on for 5 mins then all green muck will fly off.

How would u apply it to the gutters on a house? Spray on brush? Or do u have one of those pump up spray bottle things and does the spray reach the gutters ok?

Pump up pressure sprayer. Available from B&Q for £15 but I got mine from eBay for less than half the price for exactly the same product (obviously brand new aswell)

no need to leave 10-15 mins, 5 mins is more than enough

You must scrub really quickly and work in small areas if you only leave 5 mins ;)

why? do you clean a castle every time?
anyway, what is the point to leave it 15 mins? 5 mins is more than enough  ;)

Or....you can do it even quicker! Skip the virosol, and just use the water, same result but quicker!  ;D

A lot of ppl swear by virosol....I've been cleaning UPVC and conservatories near on 10 yrs, always used just tap water.

When cleaning frames, doors etc I use a cream cleaner.

For gutters, soffits etc, I hook up to the custies tap with my pole, and clean away. As soon as the green algae gets wet, it comes off, no matter what you use.

Bought 25 ltrs of TFR 7 years ago to try cos everyone was singing its praises, took longer cos had to wash the TFR off. It's still in my garage  ::)roll

Haven't read all replays but I'd say don't leave it on too long if the sun is strong! Can stain con roofs etc ...

I use it approx 1 in ten ... And dipped the brush in it then rubbed on ... Then rinsed with tap water.

if its really badly green any solution will help and make it quicker has it will get under the the dirt/algae

you can clean with just water on some instances but if it is full of algae virosol or other soutions will definately make it easier
