Title: Ninja pump upgrade
Post by: stains-away on February 23, 2006, 02:42:44 pm
Im using an Ashbys Ninja with a 135psi pump and am thinking of upgrading it to 400psi, ive heard the 400psi pump can be troublesome, anyone got any thoughts on the subject?

hi andy, i hav two machines with an ashbys 400psi pump one is about 3 years old and still fine the other is about 8 months old  and fine , they are very sturdy pumps and will out last smaller pumps over and over again and withstand high temps , and rember thers no eltrics on them as they are driven by a hefty eltric motor
p.s put the inline v2 heater with it u never know how u cleaned before !!!

Andy when leaving it in the van you could get a few links of heavy duty chain and fix them to the inside of both doors
then get a padlok for the middle.
that way you can have the doors open a couple inches to let your hoses out and no one can get in.

and if you have auto fill i wouldnt think you would need much access to the top of machine

yes get a bigger van its so much easyer , thats the good thing about a dihatsu  two doors and loads height, never had a prob about with people nickin anything most of the time parked on a drive making lots noise and hoses and plugs running out of it so people know u are about , anycase u be pretty sad to nick something to do with carpet cleaning  :o
