went to quote a hotel in liverpool which hasnt had road side windows cleaned for a very long time i think if i can organise these difficult windows to clean i would win the contract
i have cherry picker licence but what is involved in contacting highways agency to close a road or organise diversion or lane closure
is there costs involved in this??
would the window cleaner pay this bill if there is and price it in to quote??
or would the property owner be billed
abseilers is another option
im thinking a van mount cherry picker would be best option as windows arent too high surely you could jut cone off one lane and do on say a sunday evening when roads are very quiet
any help would be appreciated

best thing to do is contact your local council, the cost would be down to you and you put it into the quotation, cost for us was £1,000 but since has gone to £1,200 and last for 5 weekdays, also need a permit for mewp / van to be on the rd at £120 each vehicle / machine, not sure about weekends, when you cone off the working area the council will ask for a detailed drawing of where and what is going to happen, including where the machine will be and any signage, they may also ask for a copy of (cant remember what its called but) person who is putting out cones / signs etc theire licence for putting the cones out, if you dont have one, you may need to either get one, or hire in traffivc management company,
bit of advice, if working on a busy or fast rd its always a good idea (though you dont legally have to) is to park your van / car a bit away from your machine, that way the machine cant be hit by traffic, it would be your car / van,
