Title: telesales cold calling?

Does anyone do this for commercial work?
What sort of success do you get from it?
Having landed 2 big commercials im looking at doing sone telemarketing.
Just wondered if people had any luck doing this?

We do.
It's hard work.
Girls seem to do better than boys.
You need tenacity and need to be able to take knock backs.
It's not as lucrative as you might think but not bad.
Look at roughly for 100 calls, to get 10 appointments and 2 jobs.
Do your homework on each company first.
Flicking through yellow pages/google picking a random company, calling and going 'do you want a window cleaner?' Won't cut it.
Most will have a window cleaner, you just need to be better.

Im looking at using a company and 2 individuals.
one has offered me 3 hours for £45 which seems worthwhile.
i will get them a list and see how they get on.
I can see how it could be good business if i get a couple of commercial jobs i will use them on a weekly basis going forward.
