Any good? I've not used it before.
Says that it'll remove "red food colourings, carbonated drinks, fruit juices and wine stains from carpet and fabrics"
How effective is it when using with heat?
Mainly interested in the red food colourings, carbonated drinks and fruit juices part.

Usually use reducer with various results.

I did have a situation several years ago where the rx made the area lighter than the rest of the carpet. I now prefer to use peroxides or sodium mets. Before that I did have some successful cases.

I am gonna use some tonight on a wine/cordial stain. We have already used spray n go on it but its done as much as it can and unfortunately dye gone isn't liking one of the colours in the carpet,

I like it and use it as appropriate, but.....
It doesn't half foam!! It takes ages to swill out of the carpe. :'(

I've got a bottle, used it a couple of times on ribena/fruit juice stains. Decent stuff.

Agree.
Used with heat it's supposed to be really good - but it didn't move a large old coffee stain off a wool carpet last week (customer had been trying to remove it with allsorts!).

have had mixed results with red rx and it will bleach wool carpets so beware

Had a curry / vomit stain on a hotel wool mix carpet...
Tried Red RX which improved the area but didnt give the WOW factor... then used Sod mets with a white towel and a steam iron ... this sorted the problem!

Red rx was good in its day but suppliers are selling new and better products for heat transfer and reduction.
