That's what I do, have to confess that I only bother with the cone in busy streets.

i never wear hi viz andy.i have been known to read THE VIZ annual from time to time though!! ;D ;D ;D

usually im all in black.north face black goretex jacket,black craghopper solardry pants and brown goretex boots! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

its a busy narrow main road rg1 so had no choice if i want to keep my wing mirrors!! ;D ;D ;D

God help you if impact 34 or whoever they are come on here they will be reporting you to elf and gnome safety .

I have just fitted L E D lights all the way along my hose  and around my 20 safety cones and a siren that warns people with in 3 meters of approaching my over the top safety gear,i just hope it gets noticed  ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

think i might get this printed in flourescent colours and give to everyone i meet, may also drop them with some fliers

only downfall is there is no toe board at the bottom, but at least it has a hand rail

thats exacly how i do it too daz  ;) only difference is i have back doors shut and external van ports under rear bumper  :P

Nice one Dazmond, I think, like my efforts, it's a good teaching point regarding the obstacles as it shows what is being done and what more can be done.

What I find interesting is how attitudes change over time:

In 2005 when the regs came out many including myself were up in arms about having to change our work practice.

Things change and what was standard practice in 2005 is no longer standard.

What is standard now may not be in the years to come!
