Title: Oxfordshire Solar Sites Update
Post by: telfordwindowclnr on April 16, 2013, 05:52:14 pm
Hi everyone.

Thanks to everyone who contacted me about the 13 commercial solar sites in Oxfordshire.  I've had a few enquiring this week, wondering what the latest is. I have spoken to the client today, the paperwork is going through and they will be coming back to me shortly with exact addresses etc.

If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to fire away.  :)

Hi Steve,

I'm not a million miles away (Swindon based), and would be happy to carry out these cleans for you. I only carry 400 litres in the vans though, would this be sufficient enough to clean the sites mentioned?

Regards,
Lance

Hi lance.

You definitely won't do all 13 from 1 tank mate. I'm not sure on the exact size of each site, but the absolute minimum is 2,300 panels and could realistically be up to 5,000.

On a separate note, I have priced up a job this week for 21,620 panels in Swindon.  I will be looking for someone for that if I get it.  ;D ;D ;D. We have every chance, we have got others that big. ;D

Thanks Steve,

Going by the 2300 panels minimum,  I think 0.17 litres a panel Is pushing it a bit, even on the smaller sites. Would be quite a bit if travelling for me by the sounds of it.

If you get the one in Swindon please feel free to contact me to have a chat on 07717756357.

Regards,
Lance

Put a 25 litre DI resin in the van so long as there is an water source nearby you could purify as you go.

Matt would that work with a starting tds of 300+. Very hard water in the Swindon area.

Yes I guess. You'd use more resin than was preferable but sure the extra work would more than cover it. Easily.

Ill do some calculations later when I'm home.

Just another update. These sites have not gone by the by. I am having a meeting with the Head of Monitoring and Maintenance for the company who own the panels. We will be discussing these sites and others that they own. :)

Steve, I would be interested in giving you a price for these once you have some more details on locations. If it's already sorted, no problem. John
