Title: 4 storey, which pole?
Post by: Matt Birk on April 14, 2013, 03:48:30 pm
Will a 35ft pole be long enough for a 4 storey? (Ground, 1st floor, 2nd floor, 3rd floor)
Thanks in advance

Might struggle on some older high ceiling type properties, or if you need to stand a bit further from house or if ground falls away in front of house
I do a few older style 3 story properties that my slx 30 only just reaches
I think as a rule of thumb you should allow 10ft per floor to be safe

If you are going to buy a new pole then go for a 40ft pole with 44ft reach to ensure you defo clean them .

If the ground slopes off or you need to clean over a canopy or extension  then you may not be able to reach all windows as easily or at all .

I have just bought a Gardiners  S-Max 40 but dont need a pole as big at the moment at most i only really need a 35ft pole but you never know . Mike
