Title: hole in 8mm hose

i have just got 3 holes in my 8mm pipe all came within a day but my hose is years old if i put a barb mender in the hose would i also have to put clips to hold it in place or because it is barbed it will hold itself in . Regards   :)

Put a jubilee clip on it.
