my mates just given it to me, he's had it for 20 yrs

no only top 6.  bottoms are a cellar

lol  £3 monthly, i went tonight & told him £5 he hummed & hahd a bit then said he'd have to check with the wife, my mate has 2 lads on for him & he hardly makes  money on lots of his jobs by the time he's paid em  cos he hates putting prices up so he gives em to me, i do em cheap for a bit then when they're happy stick the price up a bit,

I though the lakes were pricey?

Honestly-in my town you would struggle to get one window done for that.

Even by the summer brigade or mongs!
And it ain't affluent here at all.

my mate has been doing the dark blue bay & 2 tops for £2 

£8  & £6 i think is fair but i doubt i'll get it for a few months lol  trouble is i have full council houses for a fiver so £5 for a front is ok wi me as i pass every day any way & i could do 10 fronts in an hour so i'll be canvassing tomorrow

it was just really to show what prices some people charge, my mates been going 30yr owns his house, 3 foreign hols a year all at those mad prices - he is starting to lose work though

most of the lakes is well expensive, my mate is probably the cheapest, but in kendal there are still lads doing £3.50 houses & these are full time w/c lads not doleys
