I was thinking £30-£40, if it was for a regular custy.
Non regular custy £70
Easily done in a hour

I'm starting to hate doing them  :(
Charging £45 on this size but I could do my normal work and earn the same amount in time..

Amazing.

Let me ask the classic question.

Did you use anything other than water?

avo they are hard work are nt they?!!esp if you have a busy maintenance window cleaning schedule to keep to. ;D ;D

because that roof is filthy then id want at least £60 and access to customers outside tap.

spray with virosol then a good scrub and rinse using loads of water.

did you have to get the ladders out to pole one side of the roof due to next doors fence?

£60 is what id charge if it was a regular WC customer.£80 if its a one off as you would have to clean the frames and glass on the conservatory when finished anyway.

i have heard the opinion that if you get every job you quote your prices are too cheap ;-)

i believe 2/3 is a good measure of you prices.

We charge £65 min for any conny roof clean currently, though will bump this up i think as they are hassle

i personally charge £30 an hour on conservatorys but always give them a set price before is start so they dont think im taking the biscuit! however i reckon this would be about 2 hours work so £60! but i have a portfolio of connys i have completed to show the customers so they are not put off because of the price:).  After most of them have seen how well they come up they go for it! afterall its only once every year or 2.

Im well cheap. My min price is £20 for a con roof as 1 off,, i defo need to raise them by th sounds of it lol. I dont find them that hard of a clean normaly, never charged much more than £40 for a con roof. I do many houses with the con roof each month and just add £10 to the price for regular clean. Keeps customers happy.

ive just done one today.  ended up earning a £25 per hour rate so not good enough.  And also when i'd finished it (3 hours later) i was too tired so finished an hour early.  I'm really bad at pricing for con roofs.  I think I worry that if i charge really high, then the customer is gonna expect basically a brand new looking conny roof. So I chicken out, and normally earn slightly less than I do on the windows, for more effort

i speak with a local windy who charges £15 to £20 for his cleans, it's way to much work for £20  I'd walk away on those prices..

I did another same size roof today for £45.. I think I will do a portfolio as mentioned above then up my prices slightly..

I love connie cleans, did one today with a full house UPVC clean after i did my window work. I try and get at least 3 a week, really bumps the money up!!!!

Getting my van wrapped next week, and the back is going to be a full ad for connies!!!

If it was roof only £45 is a fair price but if window frames and glass were to clean as well then maybe a bit under priced . Mike

i advertise "full clean" from £85 +£10 for finials  "roof only" from £39 +£10 for finials.

Then up sell with things like emptying gutters above connie (with vac) Frame cleans etc. Usually get an average of £145 per job.

when everyone quote conservatory roof clean is that all you clean i prefer to clean the whole conservatory and call it a valet inside and out on the glass

for a conservatory that size it 2.5 hours work minimum to do a proper thorough job id be looking for 60-75quid depending on how i guage the customers willing to pay

i always ask them how much they paid to have it installed knowing it will be in the 1000s i then make them feel guilty and ask how often have they had it properly cleaned

i say well you wouldnt let a car worth that much not be cleaned for X amounts of years as it will increase maintenance in the long run

this then make our service more valuable ;D ;D ;D

nice one - i was going to ask avo on this topic - did his price include clearing and cleaning gutters and the full wipe down.

made a mistake the other day - 3 bed semi fascia and soffits - gutter clear - conny roof clean inside and out and wash down and house windows - 130 quid. - loose tile knocked when clearing gutters - (mate came round and help fixed with cement) job took 7 hours in end plus an hour titting about with roof.

learnt a lesson re pointing out any maintenance issues before i clean as customer thought it was my fault re tile despite fact it was sverely lose anyhow.

any thoughts on this guys or this another topic/subject?  :) :)

i never clear gutters.cant be bothered.i also never clean INSIDE of conny roofs either.a real pain to clean!

seriously some of you guys would be better off sticking to window cleaning judging by the low prices for conny roof cleaning.

they are a pain esp if you have to pole from a ladder and if no access to outside tap itll take you at least 30 mins longer.

That price I quote is the roof, outer gutter and windows..
Always tell them inner gutter clean is extra..

I've done fifteen or so conservatory roofs over the past year or so, but I can never get the finials as clean as all the pictures here. I'm using virosol, and the panels and guttering come up lovely, but the finials always seem to have a few black dots, no matter how hard i scrub.

So my question is, how do you get the finials looking so darn good????

Im shockingly expensive  ;D

however let them go up a ladder, let them buy an expensivee pole, let them buy the tfr / virosol / magica101superdupermotionlotion, let them buy a ro to make pure, and lets not forget do the actuall labour.

sprayed neat into the brush over pre soaked roof..
Also another good trick I found for them round dots you mention that don't come off is a 4" or 6" unger squeegee and remove the rubber squeegee blade and use it as a scraper by rubbing lightly and i find those bits that wont brush off can be removed in seconds.
