I have just sprayed an outer coal of( base coat) top coat Polyurethane clear coat ,to see if it will preserve the surface of the pole. I have them outside in the sun,but will bake them in our airing cupboard which has quite a lot of heat and well ventilated for the night, when the surface is hard to the tough.Lets see what happens.I will probably let it cure a few days before use it.
