Good man, I've been twin DI for 9 years with a input tds of approx 90ppm ;)

Me too I've got twin 11L di's with tds at 100.
Not sure how much water I've used but its been a long time since I've changed resin ;D

Hi for those of you who use twin DI how often do you check the TDS out of the first DI vessel in line?
The last time I changed mine the TDS out of the final vessel was 003 - out of the tap was about 95 - but out of the first vessel it had crept up to about 140!!!!
I never realised that the output TDS can actually get higher than what you are putting in. :o :o
I check the output of the first vessel now and change over when it equals the TDS of what is in the tank even if the output from the final vessel is 0.
I hope that is the most efficient use of the resin.

i check the di nearest the hose reel when this starts to creep up to 001 i put this one nearest the pump and put a fresh one nearest the hose real and keep this process going this way the vessle near your tank will still take lots of impurities out of the tank water

I found this too Granny, always keep an eye on vessel one.

in the long run do you think it saves much resin doing it this way ( would do anything to save on resin)
