Title: Delivering leaflets
Post by: mick hay on April 05, 2013, 11:15:44 pm
Ive always had my leaflets delivered for me, but am going to put them out myself this year.

Those who have done them themselves before, on a housing estate, how many do you put out per hour/day?

I'm looking to put out 10k per month.

depends how compact the houses are your doing, i would say average between 100-150. Im doing the same at the min but have a mate helping me when im busy working, about 4 hours a day does it for me anything more and you will start to slow down.

something I've wondered.what if there is no vehicle access to the rear and you use WFP ? would you just leave the rear or not do those estates/blocks ?

I quite like this work if they want the backs done i charge a premium.

But i try two get just the fronts and knock them out I'm getting quite a lot of terraced house work and the hourly rate can be good  ;) ;)

front only terrace are the daddys in window cleaning. I actualy target this work on my newest built round and get verey good rates per hour from it nearly double what i get from doing f+b on my other round, 30-35 fronts a day get done now in 6-8 hours where as 20-25 f+b get done on my other round. I charge £10-£12 for fronts where my other round averages at £10-15 f+b. i make so much more from targetting fronts and pricing them right, also makes an easy canvass as all houses are close with minimal wasted walking time between houses. I realy recomend them.
