Title: Rhino Safe Stowe Pics and Video
Post by: Alex Wingrove on April 05, 2013, 09:43:55 pm
So, new roof rack came today.
Chris from Rhino the MD, delivered personally today, the twin SafeStow hasn't been released until next week, but I really needed it, and it unexpectedly arrived.

So first thoughts,

Its amazing, really sturdy design, I think it lives up to the Rhino brand and culture.

Have a high roof van where getting the ladders of quickly was a must, I looked at other brands, but none seem the be available in the uk, or rather I couldn't find any.

I have uploaded some pics and a video and will keep you updated on how I get on in day to day scenarios.

Also praise to Darran at http://www.autorack.co.uk/ who did a great job getting this to me early

Oh yeah, always lock your ladders on, someone nicked my triple last week!

Looks nifty Alex! :D How do the ladders come off if you are tight for space at the back? ???
A sprinter too eh? Nice. Hope you didn't have a fAg whilst fitting it with that gas bottle so close by! :o :o ;) ;)

You know me Steve I have yellow fingers

Anything you see in that van at the moment is in a temporary position. Its been all too busy recently.

The issue for tight spaces is just that an issue.

I needed a bigger van, and it I have always wanted one, so we saved up and now I have a grin on my face when I drive to work

I'll email you some pics of my van when I get chance. It may help you with the setup. I have done 5 vans now from scratch, all 2 man setups. I got the layout exactly as I need now.

Will be interesting to hear how that ladder comes off in the real situations. I'll watch with baited breath.  ;D
