Title: Braided pole hose or reinforced hose .
Post by: richard jagger on April 05, 2013, 01:30:10 pm
Not often do I need help but today I am looking for a braided pole hose for a hot water system as the Gardeners yellow pole hose keeps bursting. Any input would be appreciated.

Streamline 5 pole hose from pure freedom is braided
I use this and it's very hard wearing, although I only use cold water

I wouldn't want to stick braided hose up a pole, it adds weight.  Some might say it's just a little but every little bit adds up.  I know some don't like it but aqua adapter hose is fine with hot.

Simon.

I use Brodex pole hose. It is braided and it lasts a long time.

If you are bursting pole hose you are doing something very wrong. Turn that pressure down!  ;D

Please Tim, its not the pressure its the hose getting hot and then pressure of the water.  I use the pole tap at the brush head so it does put strain on the pole hose.I need a pole that can resist the pressure  of hot water. Thanks anyway Mate.

aquadapter hose, if you are using hot all the time get the red hose, its terrible with cold but perfect with hot you wont burst that

Looks like it will be aquadaptor hose then.Maybe the orange as I do use cold aswell. Is the red hose a pain when cold?

Of course, pressure combined with heat. But still, if you manage to actually burst pole hose, either one of them, or both are way too high. I can't remember the last time somebody actually blew up the actual pole hose.  :D
