What's the best best machine to start carpet or rug cleaning with?  New or second hand?

NEW.

Less potential problems.

purchasing "USED" sometimes means, "Used up".

best in your research.

What is you budget? Your question is like asking what is the best car to drive from a-b? There will be many answers and many variations, you need minimum twin vacuum and minimum 135 psi pump. Get it right first time and you won't be wanting to upgrade after two month and you are more likely to retain more of your customers and have better working efficiency.

ok, he he he, Radek.

I can go to around £1500, but have to allow cash for van etc.

(ok with idiots who post rubbish, it's part of game, ha ha!).

It might eat into your budget just a bit more but if I was starting out now I'd look at the Airflex Mini or Alltec Express. Great little machines but good enough to do the job, various alternatives within the range too. Don't forget customers don't grow on trees you will need a serious campaign and enough cash to survive.

Good luck.

Is that £1500 for a machine and a van? Then off you go? You'll need some money for advertising and other bits (which adds up to a lot), hoses, chems, agitator, sprayers, and the list never ends.......

I was allowing maybe £4k, maximum.  Then after work is generated to expand advertising and do some door knocking.
