Title: Does using a booster pump mean you waste more water?
Post by: britishwill on April 04, 2013, 05:09:08 pm
Hi All

I am looking for some advice.

If I install a booster pump, I know it will help with getting the most out of my RO, save resin and produce water more quickly, but my question is will it waste more water if say I was producing 650 litres of water with compared to without using a booster pump?

Thanks i advance

Will

No.

To be absolutely sure, measure the ratio before and after you fit the pump.

you will waste no more water by using a booster pump, depending on the filtration system you use you can alter the flow restrictor on the waste outlet to create a little more back pressure
