I see aqua-dapter are selling medical connectors plastic male female connectors.
Can anyone tell me does male connector fit straight onto pole hose or does it require jiggery pokery.
Extra adapter between pole hose and medical male connector?
thanks Lee.

Hi Lee,
Just replied to your email, and saw this afterward. In case anyone else is interested...
Assuming you mean http://www.aqua-dapter.co.uk/hose-fittings/quick-connect-female-connector-end-stop-1-4-hose-barb/
If so, yes the barb is 1/4" just over 6mm. It's easier to fit if you heat up the end of the hose first, but it can be done.
As they are 1/4", they are smaller than the barbs many people would use for mini-bore (8mm ID) hose. However, most customers have said that when used with O Clips, they get a perfect seal (not as easy to get the seal with jubilee clips). If someone definitely wants an 8mm barb for the minibore, we've got some of these now: http://www.aqua-dapter.co.uk/hose-fittings/inline-minibore-to-microbore-straight-reducer-joiner-8mm-to-6mm/

Thanks alot paul will order later.
Regards to fitting female to 6&8mm hose.
If you put a piece of pole hose on female barb then put into hose it gives tighter fit.
Also jubilee clip or o ring.
Paul see mrk 3 adpter on sale think that's what i have.
Am i right your on mark 4 ad now?
Thinking of getting a spare.
Many thanks Paul.

Hi Lee,
It's the Mk3XL now - same design but MUCH lighter.
Demo of the new Aqua-dapter and Phoenix poles at our Trade Counter this evening if anyone local wants to pop in around 6:30pm.
