Title: pump and tap?

Is there a way of running a tap of some description to turn the flo up and down on a pump without having controllers?

you just need a pole hose tap, i use them all the time  :)

It just turns on and off but doesnt control the speed of the flow doesnt it?
I have about 5 of these around my outbuilding.
