Is it just me.............
I have ran/started several businesses from corner shops to a car transportation business.
ALL without exception have come with running costs.
Is it just me..... or is there anyone else out there who accepts that, poles wear, resin comes to the end of its life, and hose connectors will leak and break over time and filters need changing!
I can choose not too read posts complaining about poles wearing and costs etc, I know, BUT, It does get a little annoying sometimes when reading posts on a topic that suddenly change into a moan about a worn 2 year old pole or something similar.
I love my window cleaning business BECAUSE of the very low 'running' costs.
A second hand car garage I once owned had a weekly 'cost' before I made a penny that was comparable too buying a new super max 45 every week. That's BEFORE I could earn anything.
IMAGINE having to buy a new pole every week before you could go out and earn!!
We dont have it too bad us windies! :-*
Rant over! Summers here!! ;D

of course your right, but the cost of wfp can seem quite high if you started trad, i got 10 scrims for about £30 in 2003 & bought another 10 5 yrs later lol

There is a high running cost before you make profit if you are a one man band,
Rent/mortgage to pay, fuel, water cost, phone bill, electric, gas, tax, van insurance, public liability, any advertising/website, food etc, kids bills if you got kids, general wear on kit, list goes on lol

I know where you are coming from, but, mortgage cost and kids are not part of your business costs or running expense, they are/contribute too an amount YOU personally need to earn to exist/live.
3 kids by the way. Twin boys aged 5 and an 8 year old boy. I KNOW the ongoing family bills game. :)
