You will not have a problem when you are cleaning houses with it IF you turn your flow off in between windows etc. You will have nice hot water all day long!!
Good choice of water heater by the way!

Were does a 20 min cut out come from its heat based. They boiler measures the heat of the water, when it reaches a certain temp it cuts out and  then needs to the flow to stop to restart again.

Yer I got my L5 from 1 of 2 companies In the only UK suppler that sells them just for that reason, costs more but you get more cover and you don't have to send it back to China or USA at your cost to get it sorted!

If something goes wrong with yours bought from a uk supplier (by the way mine was bought from a uk supplier for £96) you will firstly have too send it too them, (£15 postage) they will then no doubt reply with, its due too wear and tear and try to worm out of repairing it.
IMO these units are 'throw' away units. When it breaks, they are that cheap you CAN afford too throw it away and buy another one.
I have had one fitted for a couple of months or so, its been great in the cold weather and excellent on first cleans, it payed for itself in the first week (IMO).
If someone had said too me in the 'very' bad winter we had a couple of years ago "give me £96 and I will let you work all week without freezing pipes and jets" I WOULD OF SNAPPED THERE HAND OFF!

Anyway that's my opinion, it sort of links with the topic I have just recently started.

One thing is our forgot to mention, what if it didn't work soon as you got it, or damaged in any way?

Bit like our boiler we got fitted at home, brand new and within 2days we had to get engineer out and it had the thermo couplin, heat exchanger and another part replaced as they failed.

My L5 is running great and works well, never had a problem with it or anything, you must of just had a bad one, or it wasnt fitted up right or something.

Try bad three!

You cant really set them up wrong, inlet outlet gas. That is all that is required. I have spent hours fiddling with the damn things to get them to function every time. But without success

The advantage of the new one is its sensitivity. It fires up very quickly, but more importantly, doesn't allow for a high build up of pressure so shuts off quickly too.

Also it heats my water to 48deg, which is perfect.

Also the L5 doesnt had a flue, so to speak. So you can get condensation in the van, or f you vent it outside, you are suceptable to wind

took me an hour to fit mine up, ajusted the low pressure scre that they have in them,
fires up at as low as 25psi runs all day without a problem, only time it plays up a little is when you use cheap batterys and when they start to  get low. other than that is worked no problem.
has very low temp from cold all the way upto 70deg.

like i say when you fit them up right, mine has a flue so van never gets any condensation in the van, even when doors are pushed to a bit it all goes out the back!

I f anyone has a problem with the Chinese boiler and the little man will not replace just leave some bad remarks on the e bay and see how quick you will get good service without sending the damaged one back.I told him he must send the cash into my account so I can send it back to him.But first get your refund. Then give him the good news about British law and returns when bought on a internet site. The return of faulty goods cost is for the supplier. ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Why would you want to bend metal like that when you can just buy a metal flue, and attach it straight to the heater I use?

because its custom made to fit the van and the heater! you cant buy a flue for a L5 you have to make them! plus it didnt cost me anything either!

Hi Alex

Can you tell me how low a flow rate these boilers will operate at and also how low do you have to adjust the flow rate regulator on the boiler to make it fire up?

Why do you think these are so much better than the L5? I've been using the L5 for 2 years and think its far from perfect, but what makes this boiler better?

Simon.

Some time ago I said how important flow rate was with these heaters as many use a 7 litres a min pump and a L5 this will give you luke warm water. A l 10 will boil that water and even burst the boiler if its not turned. One needs a flow rate higher so one can turn the controller to suit the boiler or a higher boiler rate and tone down the boiler flame. One needs to balance. Some ass told me at the time I did not know what I was talking about. But many have paid the price of not matching  boiler and pump. Flow rate is very important in these cases.Dont think if your boiler works well it is not a problem its just luck the two match.
With a L10 they will  work well but can overheat, the thermostat will cut out  and will  switch off the boiler if its reaches a dangerous heat.If not the brass fittings of the heater will burst or hoses burst. In the case of the L10 Chinese unit these brass fittings E.G.(  PRESSURE valves) are very thin and not  of even thickness and not consistent.SO ONE UNIT IS GOOD AND ONE NOT SO GOOD.
