Title: are clx 18s big enough for over connys

ive been thinkin of buying a few clx 18s due to how cheap they are so the slxs 25 n 30 dont get bashed around as much do the 18ft poles reach over connys and extension

Not really - the CLX/SLX 22 is a better compromise.

Ye get a 22 mate  no point struggling
Just get the extra 4 ft

yeah had the 22 n 27fts before just thought for standards houses im quite happy for them to bash hell out for 90 quid or watever they are and still got bigger poles in the van when needed

I can reach over most of mine with an 18 if I go from the side
But from the front I usually get the 22 out

Get 22s.why have 18s and struggle when 22s are perfect size and not much more weight.

I cant think of a conny on my round my 18ft slx wont reach over.
I do think that a clx22 would be more beneficial though as its not quite so rigid as a slx.

I also use an 22 and can even reach 3 floor windows.Good pole I use mine more that my slx.

i use one all day,been over two connys today,i do have a carbon gooseneck on it.
if i was to play safe i would go for the 22 ft,but i find the 18 will do

we would have the other poles in van too bob that what im saying to everyone for the price of the 18ft poles i wouldnt mind if staff broke them and saves using the better slxs everyday

22slx all the way then if the end splits you can cut it back to good carbon to stop the split running further. And its still long enough to reach over a standard 3m or 4m conservatory ;-)

i have had a clx 18 for two years, for some reason it is outlasting my slx but i would also go with a 22
