Here's an idea from the other post.
I know a lot of you have smaller & medium sized commercial window cleaning and from that you are already in with clients.
Maybe you have been asked to look at works and said no because they were bigger than you could handle, maybe you were thinking, that commercial building frontage is a right mess but I don't know what the next step is or I don't know how to price it up or I don't have the kit, chewing gum removal stuff, pressure washers, cherry picker license, whatever.
I will work with anyone on larger works, we can come to an agreement that is mutually beneficial, you can be in all meetings, total transparency, see how it is done, see how we operate, see how we get the job done, how it is priced, how I communicate, and handle all aspects.
It would be beneficial to you - gaining experience, satisfying a client and offering a larger service with none of the headaches, the headaches will be mine.
I get additional works, I get the in from your relationship.
I'm not about rolling people and trying to take work off you. All of my works are one offs and I am not interested in stealing works. If you are straight with me, as I will be with you it could be financially beneficial to both parties.
Your thoughts?

I think its a great idea and if I'm honest I'd be prepared to pay for that sort of information 'straight from the horses mouth'

define a large commercial
-
It doesn't have a specific definition - something that you cannot handle, something you don't have the kit to take care of, something that might require paperwork that will secure the work because of its detail.

Hi All
I would just like to say that this is a really good offer form somebody that knows his stuff.
I have done jobs with Rob on this principle so can definately say he his fully trust worthy & at the end of it you can make a few bob aswell.
I think of Rob as a friend now as we have spoke regular & met up since the first time I invited him on a Job. We have done jobs since & Quoted others. The job he did was a very awkward rear yard to a factory with a lot of soiling & waste, which he did a very good job of.
I have taken on Large jobs previously & still do, but, there is a time when you need extra help or advice, plus anybody new to this work is garunteed a good result from something they are learning at.
I will have that drink now Rob ;D

I guess it was just seeing just how many people looked at the other commercial post. Don't get me wrong this is a business idea and I want to make money from it but I do know about pricing substantial works.
Sorry it was too late!!
There is always a lot of interest in the commercial posts and I am not claiming to be the big I am but it is what I do day in and day out. I don't want to manage anyone, I will ask you about how you would price, how you would do it, what paperwork is in place, how it might be done in a slightly different way, how it could be improved, how we can make the client remember the service & want to use it again.
What happened to the leads?

Do you like windows Rob or do you prefer general exterior cleaning works?
-
Probably all the rest to be honest. I will do windows and still have all the kit for several men to work up to 60 foot.
Did some glass trad two days ago.

Another thing, to be taken seriously on this work you have your paperwork & H&S right. For Most people this is a minefield & any help would be a blessing.
So sometimes this would win you that big job, by using Rob.
Saying that I could do with a few aswell. lol.
We have won a really difficult job which includes cleaning approx 10 Building exteriors, with glass atrium roofs above communal areas, the H&S was through the roof, sorry about the pun, but, with the right expertise & paperwork anybody can win these contracts.
This is an area that I also want to expand this year & hopefully work with Rob on some.
