.....started a job cleaning cladding round a small warehouse today, the cladding is plastic coated, used hot water & mild detergent but it would not come clean, I have seen g101 mentioned on here is that what i need or is there anything else i could use,
it's not to dirty it's just the dirt seems to be ingrained in the plastic ???
thanks.
ps! first cladding job for me.

Aggitation usually works mate, a good brush, no need for heat or pressure, just a good detergent like tfr and scrub with a brush, if that doesn't work then the cladding may be discoloured by UV rays and weathering? you may need more abrasive action like a cream cleaner then, although the pricing would change dramatically if you were to go down that route
;)

Tfr as above but work upwards else you'll have clean streaks from the run down. Rinse wax helps with aged cladding

TEL 01704 880800 ask them for Sp10 .*****Test a small area first*****.Use a soft brush and wash it by hand (no amount of heat or pressure will clean it). Make sure you wash it all off. Exellent product but very strong!!! Then wash it down with tfr with rinse aid and wax ..to make it shine again. If not "t cut" it!!!!

You could us G101 no problem. But i cant see the point in buying water from Autosmart... when i can buy concentrate for less money (relative) and mix it with water on site.

thanks for the advice, i was going to use TFR but was worried it might leave streaks, going back on tuesday will do a test area with tfr,

Autosmart G101 is a highly concentrated multi-purpose cleaner, and should thus always be diluted to an appropriate strength before use. For general cleaning duties it should be diluted 30:1 (water:product), while for more intensive degreasing duties it should be diluted 8:1 (water:product). Autosmart G101 may also be used for wheel cleaning and synthetic sealant removal duties; in such cases it should be diluted 5:1 (water:product) and spot tested before use. In all cases, an appropriately diluted solution should be sprayed directly onto the surface to be cleaned and then agitated thoroughly with suitable detailing brushes before being fully rinsed off. Ensure that you never allow Autosmart G101 to dry out fully before it is rinsed off, otherwise permanent staining may occur.

Kiam pressure washers are for industrial users, Tesco's beef burgers contain beef ...Horseboxes are Vosa exempt, Domestos is extra strong bleach, Autosmart G101 is a highly concentrated multi-purpose cleaner.

Make sure you thoroughly wash the G101 off it's caustic . It WILL eat any aluminum that is on the job .

will do.

And standard TFR is caustic based
-
As Carl said "Normal" tfr is caustic .....Should of mentioned to get non caustic Tfr with rinse aid and wax doh!
-
also apply the chemical from base upwards, if applied from top run marks can be left that are difficult to remove

Tfr as above but work upwards else you'll have clean streaks from the run down. Rinse wax helps with aged cladding
Keep up ;)

Maybe better to reinforce the point - some members are preoccupied in argueing petty points rather than look at the basic principles of cleaning ;)
