Here's the situation:
Perfectly working system - tank, pump, DI, hose, pole.
Change the resin, then bang, no water which im guessing is an air block.
The same thing happened when I changed the tap on hose.
So, we suck the hose coming OUT the pump, get a mouth full of water and away we go ;D
Now then, any tips? :)
-
Keep pump lower? Get rid of hozelock connectors? Clean out strainer?
-
Thats what i would have said suck the pipe :-)
-
Put the pump on the floor clean out strainer and do away with as many connector as possible
-
Cant really move the pump, even if I did, it would only be about 5 inches?
Might just have to put up with it then ;)
-
happens daily with me,250ltr run out after 3 or 4 hours so top up, release presure by pulling of any hoselock and away you go,water flow starts again.

if you are still struggling, connect the inlet of the pump to an outside tap or water supply and turn the pump on, sometimes just needs that extra little help
-
you may have some resin or other debris stuck in the pump, this would stop or slow the pump down, easily solved by cleaning out the pump, if you need help doing so just ask
