hi mick im looking to pick you brain for a few mins ;D

one of my close mates his sister has just quit her job and is looking for more work iv had a bit of a chat and shes willing to take on canvassing.

what sort of payment sceme should i have with her hours working etc ? also she could drop flyers and was thinking about cold calling on commercial jobs she worked as a secutary at a solicitors so has good people skills.

shes only 22 so mite be a good idea that one of us goes canvassing with her maybe ?

any advice would be great. cheers

Hi mate,
Its always best to go canvassing as well to make sure all is going the way you plan it, as a rule i dont let anyone canvass for me unless im there with them. I pay my canvassers £5 a lead but seeing as its your mates sister why not offer her half/1 clean value of what she picks up, to keep her keen i recomend to pay on the day which shows trust and so she will work harder for you and wont feel the need to risk throwing a few crap jobs onboard, like i always say best hours for canvassing are between 5 and 8pm.
As for commercial its a different game as i chase my own commercial not via canvassing but still worth a go if its shops/industrial you chase.
Hope it all plans out well for you, cant beat rapid growing through other peoples hard work.

Not realy that great of return with 3 eves a week with 2/3 canvassers out hitting 3-10 calls each a night, i was hoping to have done better. This month has been a bonus with finding a window cleaner who had recently retired and gave me all his old customers to knock through.
All it takes is determination and motivation going out and hitting the right areas instead of normal types of roads/houses that every tom dick and harry leaflets/knocks at.

Depends on so many factors, if you hit normal everyday roads then you will find it tough hitting between 1-3 each as an average, hit an area where it has main roads with scattared houses or better still victorian terrace then you could get maximum hit rates of 5+ each as far less people target these areas as think are more grief than what they are worth but believe me they are god sends.
