Title: had a rite laff today city and guilds

saw a window cleaners van today said he has a city and guilds in window cleaning on the sighn writtting made me and my old man laugh. like you need one  ;D

iv got one in sweeping up  ;D lol

what are your guys thoughts on this and how many of you have one ? the only benfif i could see is they would teach you how to trad windows thats about it but i learnt that myself rather easy from another window cleaner a few years ago

 its not about teaching you how to clean,
 its more into the H&S of it and how to make sure you work safely and all the paper work how to do RAMS the right way, what to look out for etc etc.
only spent about hour on the glass with wfp and squeege.

oh i see fair enuff it just took me by suprise. when i did a large glass cleaning job on site i just had to do a basic hse test and i was on. but i can see where your cuming from probley more for the commercial scene than the domestic cleaner like myself ;D

Its all bullpoop if you ask me total codswallop !!!!

The only winners are impact 43 .
Oh i was too over qualified to do the course lol
7 lvl 2 city and guilds and 2 lvl 3 in a different trade though and still couldnt do it .
Who needs it ?

They only get the funding for people that don't have any city and guilds
So even if you only had one you would still very over qualified to do it lol

Correction. You are not over qualified to do it, rather over qualified for a FREE place. You can do it but it would cost you.
