Was toying with the idea of getting one of these and placing on the pavement when doing a job.
They seem quite reasonably priced.
Anybody use them ?

I've got one, not for jobs but for standing around giving leaflets out like one of those ambulance chasers!

True...but often neighbours / people walking by hav'nt got a pen on them.
They get home and have forgotton who you are or just dont bother.
I was going to attach a holder with my flyers in asking them to take one.
Just an idea :)

I wouldn't leave one unattended on the pavement - Claims Direct!
That or some kids pinch it.

If you choose to go ahead checkout www.signspostersbanners.co.uk they do a lot of this very well also van graphics very reasonably priced and great at designing what you want. I can vouch for them as they done both my vans and also a sign very good.

Hi Terry
Here`s a link for business card holder to go the side of the van

Ive been thinking of getting a couple myself. People pass many many parked up vans everyday and don't take much notice most of the time. Stick an A board each side and you instantly draw more attention to yourself.
For what they cost and the minimal space they take up on the van i think its a winner, it can't do any harm.
I love the 0800 repair vans with the big screwdriver on the roof, not sure how us carpet cleaners can do something similar though
