Anyone else use this to quote ...Saves visiting property i quote stating for windows front and rear ...excludes connie / extension

yup sometimes if not close to me however got caught out once in early days as house had been extended and conservatory added since google had took photo.

Explained to customer I would have to reprice, explained my error and they were fine about it ... even said we thought it was a little too cheap.

Several times. Often while the customer is on the phone. I make sure to ask if they have conservatories etc and then give them a ballpark figure i.e. £20 I tend to price in £10's for remotely priced work.

I have done. I always explain that it is just a ballpark and may vary slightly on closer inspection.

Yup, but I do tend to find that the deal is lost when doing it this way. It doesnt give me the chance to close it. Theres nothing beats looking them in the eye with that sad, lost look of a poverty sticken street urchin to secure a job  :)

i use it every time a customer phones up , and 90% im accurate , saves me a lot of time going and quopting when you really dont have to ,

Sometimes street view doesn't show the right house if you was looking for number 50 sometimes if u zoom in you find your looking at number 37  ???

did you never think to ask the custy on the phone if the house that you were looking at was their house?
