hi,i am cleaning a slate floor in a restaurant on saturday.The area is about 30 ft x 30ft.Its filthy.They want it cleaned and sealed.Can anyone help with what i should charge,thanks.

Unfortunately nobody can answer this.

The price is your time + materials + profit.

Only you know what your overhead recovery per hour is.

hi paul.i am doing the carpets in the restaurant,they emailed me yesterday to add the hard floor.No price discussed..

Watch out! sounds like in there mind its a hard floor = easy  'we'll just get the guy who's doing the carpet to do this floor bit of a mop and bucket job hardly cost anything' Could get your fingers burned.

Do not do a job like this without doing a test area!!!  It could be sealed with Yacht Varnish you have no idea
