Funny you should say that Derek, as decided to change some of my graphics and spent all morning get the old text off and applying the new.  To get old off easiest way is to use a hairdryer to warm vinyl and then peel off with finger nail, expect your your fingers to hurt if you have a lot of text ???

Also not a good idea to apply new vinyl on a cold day as it was difficult to get the text to stick to the transfer sheet correctly.

Heritage, yep like the new graphic's, classy :)

The signage guy said use a hairdryer or do it on a sunny day in the summer. Peel off and then T-Cut or machine polish if you want to get rid of the 'shadows'.

I agree looks fine, but why f/b   twitter  and tacca  ? when these spaces could have been put to better use !!

..... and just a thought , i am amazed how on earth a carpet cleaner can get their equipment and solutions in such a small van, escpecialy as a tacca member you have to have h/w/e  and a rotary  ;)  , seriously though i never seem to have enough room in my van, and I have high roof ,lwb  .

To remove decals, use a heat gun to warm sticker but be careful not to bubble paint, then use tar & glue remover available from autosmart.

Van looks great, did you put website on the rear?

Mark - Yes, website on the rear.

Geoff - I think FB/Twitter icons make you look in-touch, available and contemporary. And who WOULDN'T want a TACCA logo on their van? I would like more space, sure, but 2 weeks ago I had a Speedster, 17" rotary, 100 feet of hoses, 2 van ramps,  BS36, Duo, sprayer, chems, wand, hand tools and all the bits in the back of there. Good packing!

A lot of car graphic businesses now will custom design decals for your van and you put them on yourself.
Can save you a considerable amount in labour charges.
Having the time is one thing...having patience and a steady hand is another  :D

Seen thousands on Ebay ......... http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_trksid=p3984.m570.l1313&_nkw=van+graphics&_sacat=0&_from=R40

You do need a good eye & a steady hand as there is nothing worse than creases or crooked graphics  :o

Paul, get it done professionally, money well spent, you wouldn't recommend your clients to hire a rugdoctor to clean their own carpets would you?

Give Simon Pratt at Jetscreen in York a call, mention my name, he won't 'lift your leg' and does a great job.

I paid £155 + VAT for mine in the pic, including the roof. Have to agree - you might save £100 but not really worth it.

Your van is a belter,

One thing I noticed though is that you are using a QR code and web address but your site is not fully mobile optimised.

Think about it, 99% of people who see your van will have instant access to your site on a mobile phone.
