I had a delivery today from Gardiners and the pen inside was broken  :-[

I thought 'What a shame, such nice people too, I'm sure if they sent me a cap it wouldn't get broken in the post' Ho well, you can only hope.

All the best:

I've got a beanie, but need a cap now the sun is showing its hand.
I also need my back pack, it says so on the invoice but in the box there is........
100 powder free gloves, 1 pair of Pad ice gloves and a extreme dual trim brush. (I have nicked the free pen that um wasn't there)
Who is missing the above and have you got my back pack.
Tony

Apologies - Drop the office a line on sales@gardinerpolesystems.co.uk and they will sort this for you.

Caps will reappear at the beginning of April or sooner if we run out of Beanies -we only ordered 2000 units in. I will order them in sooner and more of them next winter.

I have 3 caps but no Beanie. I prefer Beanies over caps as caps make my ears look big!
Do you want to swap?

Hi Alex, When will you be bringing a carbon pole with a harder finish than the SLX. I have read about the matt finish been better waring. But just cannot believe that have black hands is the best results for a otherwise fantastic pole. Sorry if I sound to direct. But it is a factor when buying new poles.I just have a feeling you will be addressing this problem in a new pole.Am i right or wrong.? ::)roll ::)roll ::)roll ::)roll
P/S Alex you are amazing thanks just went on your Web and saw SLX 11  I dont know but I am guessing its got a end to black hands,if its true thanks and well down. :D :D :D :D :D I have writen this before I saw you web site.

Hi Smithie

It is fairly simple to make a carbon pole that does not produce black dust as quickly. However what this means is that you need to coat the inside and outside of the carbon tube sections with a layer of 'other' material. The problem is that this adds material to each tube section which in itself adds weight without the rigidity of carbon fibres. It is a balancing act between rigidity, weight and pure carbon.

SLXII - this may well may have some improvements in this area - it will be quite a step forward in longevity and ease of use.

I have had a hose cutter and about 12 pens!

The hose cutter I thought was a cigar cutter but it came in useful when a clamp broke on my Ionics Grafter and I needed to go full length. The cutter held the clamp in place and I was able to continue.

Gardiners are really pushing the boundaries in choice and service.

Though in the same breath an honourable mention to Pure Freedom who have been just as good especially with the RO units. Gardiners don't have the choice in that respect.

Writing using a wfp pole is difficult. It maybe old fashioned and against all H & S rules but I prefer writing trad style. I never get complaints from custies when I write trad but when I write using a wfp, jeeeeez, do they moan or what.
