are extensions available to buy for this pole?i have emailed them but had no reply
-
No, Don't be tight buy a bigger pole ;)
-
haha iv just bought a backpack package and got this with it,i wish i never bought the package now to be honest, funds are tight as im just starting out.how much would a decent 40 foot pole cost me?
-
If your just starting out why not target work that doesn't require a 40' pole?
-
Because i already have a few jobs lined up which will require a longer pole plus im gona need one in the long run so if there reasonably priced i might aswell get one now rather than lose the jobs i have
-
on speaking to them, i think they did say some was coming out soon.
-
supermax 40' would be your safest bet for that height. I have one that i use a day or 2 each month, been going for around 5 years.

Hi wardlo,
The easiest way for you to extend your 22' right now would be to get a UL section, which would turn your pole into a 26UL.
The sections from the old Facelift range will fit to the Phoenix range, so you could extend that way too.
However, I'm pretty sure that the longer poles in the Phoenix range will also be available pretty soon.

thanks for your help, where can i buy the bits i have highlighted?
-
We can get them for you, the UL section will be on our website soon, the older Facelift sections won't, but we can get those too.
You should also be able to get them from the supplier you bought your pole from (if it wasn't us).

i have the 26ul pheonix, so to extend that i would have to replace the bottom section and then add on from that wont i? as the bottom section isnt full carbon
-
It depends how concerned you are about the weight and performance benefits of a new Carbon section vs the FG section, the sizes are the same so an extra section would fit over the current base section.

its not really weight benefits that im worried about, its the strength side of it, you have full carbon one side of it then you have the fibre glass section then more carbon, to me its like having a weak link in a chain,
-
Yes, I agree, that's why I mentioned 'performance' as well. It would be better to swap that section when adding another, but it would be more costly.

think the cost of a new pole if that fails for any reason would cost more. what sort of costs are the pole sections that would be needed to take it to 32ft min

We're waiting for the prices, hopefully in the next few days. I'll post again or email you when we have them.
