Hi,
Am i right in thinking the iicrc course is much better to go on than the ncca? - And can you then join the ncca without doing their course?
Anybody know how much the course is and what sort of exam is involved?
Thanks for any comments, would really like to a course this year, just want it to be the right one! :D

The IICRC courses are carpet and upholdstery seperately, the NCCA course covers both subjects in one course. The IICRC courses are more in depth and therefore better, but it comes down to time and money.
IICRC are the best choice, but you should join the NCCA as well. Not sure if you need both courses to join NCCA. Over to someone else

2 day iicrc course at alltec £175 and if you sign up for there mailing list you will get offers through now and then with them a bit cheaper.
im sure you can join the ncca if you do the iicrc course i think you have to sit a test at the end though and pass

Thanks both, just need to know now if you need both carpet & upholstery courses to join the ncca? - Somebody knows i'm sure ???
-
acourding to the alltec training brochure
on passing either exam carpet or upholstery you may apply for entry in the ncca
-
You need carpet and upholstery to join the NCCA.
Have a look at www.cleansmartsupplies.co.uk there running a course in April

I have been told that if you pass the Carpet exam of IIrc you can take upholstery section of NCCA exam
And then if you pass you can hand over xxxx and be a recpected Carpet Cleaner
Not sure if they charge for Upholstery exam or if they are thrilled to get a new member
I think you have to pay full price to join.
However if you do NCCA Course you get a reduction in nFirst Years Membership.

Thanks ian :)
Dave, your correct it is a lighthouse right at the Bill or end of Portland, and the harbour is soon to be famous for hosting the 2012 olympic sailing events 8),
Not too sure where all the people will go though ???

Iv done the IICRC courses and the NCCA took this as a pass
so I just paid my dues and became a member
Had 3 referals from them so its paid for itself already
-
Hi henlow cleaning,
Did you have to do both the carpet & upholstrey courses for the iicrc or just one for it to count with the ncca? Would you recommend doing the IICRC course, I've heard it's quite in depth!
Regards
