Remove and inspect the jets and clean the filters. Dirt on filters can allow a fair amount of fluid to pass while wet but the dirt can solidify if the wand is not used for a few days

I tried the open ended hose and still no jo, so I stripped down the pipes inside the machine it was a pipe that was blocked. all cleaned out now the pressure seemed good but only flowed at a trickle /I timed it at 5 litres in 3 mins is this about right  then 20 minutes to fill 30 litres ?? I have a shurflo 100 psi pump brand new.
thanks

Check the pump inlet pipe and filter. Take the filter out and clean it properly, it can look clean but have a clear film over the mesh.
